Held every two years, McDonald’s Worldwide Convention connects more than 12,000 of the brand’s stakeholders from over 120 countries for three days of inspiration, information and celebration. After the global pandemic canceled the event in 2020, McDonald’s wanted to make 2022 their biggest and most immersive event ever, significantly bolstering its content, design and overall production value. Hoping for a conference rebirth, they partnered with Jack Morton and Ntropic to craft a brand experience to match the scale and importance of McDonald’s most anticipated event.
We developed the event’s overall design system and crafted a series of more than 80 unique animations, films and motion graphics as well as 300+ presentation slides that were all seamlessly integrated across 13 LED screens to assemble a complete a show package for three days of 90-minute shows. We also created a virtual McDonald’s and metaverse world to showcase the potential of future digital experiences for the brand.
